In this short broadcast, I'm giving you the 30,000 foot view of amps and how to find the right one for your playing.
There are five types of amplifiers you can get for your guitar. These types are: solid state amps, tube amps, modelers, profilers, and hybrids. I'm breaking down each type, comparing and contrasting them and telling you a little about what each type of amp can do for you as a guitar player. Different genres of music work best with different types of amps and this is important to know depending on what kind of player you want to be!
This broadcast is packed with information, including some details on how amps work so that when you set out to buy one, you can really understand what you're looking for. We'll talk about wattage, volume range and more.
Keep in mind that there are amps for electric guitars, and acoustic amps. They're both great, and work in totally different ways.
You can find my recommendations for my favorite amps in my kit store. You're just a few clicks away from a new, awesome amp!!
I won't be taking questions during this short broadcast, but you can text UGS to 1-833-744-0154 to get in touch with me and ask questions!!
