The concept of call and response is so simple yet it can be such an effective way to develop your improvisation and take it up a notch!

Practice improvising by 'asking a question', and then 'answering it'. This has many benefits including natural phrasing development, leaving more space and generally adding an extra layer of interest to your solos.
